Senior Trump campaign adviser Corey Lewandwoski has tested positive for coronavirus, a source familiar with the matter confirmed to The Post.
Lewandowski has been in Pennsylvania on behalf of the Trump campaign in recent days alongside President Trump’s personal attorney Rudy Giuliani as part of their legal battle in the state over ballots, and believes he contracted the novel virus there.
The 2016 Trump campaign manager was seen at numerous press briefings on behalf of the campaign’s legal effort over the past week not wearing a mask or practicing any form of social distancing.
Also in Pennsylvania with Giuliani and Lewandowski was David Bossie, who tested positive for COVID-19 on Monday.
Besides the Keystone State, Lewandowski, 47, attended President Trump’s election night party at the White House last week, though it is not clear if he had any symptoms at the time, as he did not test positive for another eight days.
It is also unclear if he has any symptoms now.
On Monday, HUD Secretary Dr. Ben Carson announced that he too had tested positive for COVID-19.
